Kara to Release Solo Singles Before New Album

Following the success of their third album “Step,” which was released last September, Kara hopes to release a new Korean record and hold a fan meeting in the first half of this year.

 But before that, the members hope to show a new side to themselves by releasing solo singles. Nicole, for example, who’s known for her rap skills is expected to show her different personality by featuring in a famous male singer’s album.

 Netizens reacted favorably to the news, with comments such as, “I can’t wait to hear Nicole’s track! I wonder who the male singer is?” and “A comeback album, solos and a tour, this is great.” Others wondered about the types of solo songs they’d release and gave words of encouragement. 

Kara is currently preparing for their first concert tour, “KARASIA,” which kicks off on February 18 and 19 at the Olympic Park in Seoul. They then move on to other Asian countries including Japan, China and Hong Kong.
