“Dream High 2’s” JB and Jr. to Debut as JYP Entertainment’s Newest Boy Band J&J
It’s been revealed that rookie stars JB and Jr. from “Dream High 2” will debut as boy band J&J sometime during the second half of 2012 through JYP Entertainment. Both became JYP trainees after they tied for first at the 5th JYP Open Auditions in 2009. Their recent appearances in “Dream High 2” have placed them in the media spotlight, allowing them to officially launch their singing activities.
Coincidently, JB and Jr.’s real names are Im Jaebeom and Park Jin Young respectively – two of the most influential names in the Korean music industry. As a result, Im Jaebeom decided to use his initials, while Park Jin Young decided to use his nickname “Park Jin Young Junior” minus the Park Jin Young.
Meanwhile, JB plays JB, the leader of boy band Eden in “Dream High 2,” while Jr. plays Jung Eui Bong, a backdancer for Eden.
