SHINee's Onew Won't Be Performing in Paris Due to Ankle Injury
SHINee’s Onew has unfortunately injured his ankle.
Onew was planning to perform alongside his teammates for the “Music Bank in Paris” tour on February 8. However, due to his ankle injury, he will not be standing on stage.
On the previous day, a press conference was held and SHINee’s Jonghyun reported this unfortunate news with apologies. He said, “Onew will not be standing on stage because of his ankle injury. We’re really sad that he won’t be performing with us. But we will try our best to have all five members healthy and well for the next time we perform in Europe.”
He continued, “This is our second time performing in Paris. As we reflect on our performance last year, we realized that no matter what country it is, people have great passion for concerts. I think it was a good cultural experience. We will try our best to show you a great performance.”
Meanwhile, all 10,000 tickets for the “Music Bank in Paris” concert were sold out. Top artists and groups such as SNSD, SHINee, 2PM, BEAST, 4minute, U-KISS, SISTAR and T-ara will be performing. This episode will air on February 18 for a total of 160 minutes.
