“City Hunter” Lee Min Ho’s Popularity in China Continues
We last reported that Lee Min Ho appeared on the Chinese television show, “Happy Camp,” on January 14 to take the number one viewership spot throughout China. Lee Min Ho’s episode was also the highest rated program in the past two years.
Lee Min Ho’s popularity had been growing in China since the broadcast of his hit dramas, “Boys Over Flowers,” “Personal Taste,” and “City Hunter.” His appearance on “Happy Camp” this past January was a huge hit with Chinese audiences, which led to petitions by audiences for the release of previously unreleased scenes.
Representatives of the talk show stated, “Lee Min Ho’s episode was already a special episode of 90 minutes but because the demand by audiences for the star is still high, we will be broadcasting more footage from the show.”
The unreleased scenes will be shown on February 18.
In related news, Lee Min Ho’s “City Hunter” also started broadcasting in Japan in early February. His other drama, “Personal Taste” will also start showing in Japan from February 22.
