Lee Hyori Donates All Revenue from Sales of Her “Lee Hyori-Soon Shim” Calendar

We reported this past December that singer Lee Hyori had produced a charity calendar with her pet dog, Soon Shim.

Proceeds from the calendar that features beautiful pictures of the singer and her adorable adopted dog were to be donated to help abused or abandoned animals.

Singer Gil of the hip-hop duo Leessang made headlines by buying a thousand copies of the calendar. Lee Hyori responded with tears and thanks to the fellow singer.

Now all copies of the first print of the calendar have been sold and Lee Hyori donated 120,000,000 won (~107,000 USD) to the Korean Association for Animal Welfare.

Lee Hyori wrote on her Twitter, “The revenue from the first round of sales of Soon Shim’s calendar has been donated. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for the production of the calendar, as well as people who bought the calendar. I’m very happy. Soon Shim also did a good job.”
