SPICA to Come Back on March 29 with "Painkiller"

SPICA which is the girl group under the same agency as Lee Hyori, will come back on March 29 with a repackage album. It has been 3 weeks since they ended promotional activities for the song “Russian Roulette.” They will reveal their new song “Painkiller” along with the release of the repackage album.

On March 24, SPICA had released a teaser clip of “Painkiller” and showed fans a different side of them. Painkiller was written by Ryan Jhun. He has worked on Lee Hyori, TVXQ, and SHINee albums in the past.

A representative of SPICA stated, “There were a lot of deliberations about the follow-up song. Fans were split on whether they wanted to see more of SPICA’s vocal skills or their stage performances. It was difficult to choose a song that could satisfy both aspects. ‘Painkiller’ is a song that will satisfy both the vocal skills and stage performance wants of fans.”

The music video which will be released on March 29, will allow one to compare the dance performance and stage performance for “Painkiller.” SPICA’s come back stage will be on Mnet’s “M Countdown,” March 29. It looks like March 29 is the day that SPICA fans will get a triple treat!
