JYJ Performs in Front of Spouses of World Leaders

Male group JYJ gave a great performance in front of the spouses of world leaders.

On March 27, an event was held at the Blue House called, “The 2012 Seoul Nuclear Security Summit Spouse Event,” to which JYJ was invited to perform a few songs. They performed hits such as “Be My Girl,” and “In Heaven.“

During this event, sixteen spouses of leaders all around the world attended including countries like Gabon, Nigeria, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Singapore, Italy, Indonesia, China, Chile, Philippines, United Nations and more. New agencies report that the spouses were very delighted and enjoyed the performances and the event very much.

According to sources from JYJ, after JYJ finished performing, the spouses from Switzerland, Vietnam, Philippines, Chile and South Africa all waited for them to take a picture together. A particular spouse, Mrs. Kim commented, “I am enjoying Yoochun’s new drama, ‘Rooftop Prince‘ very much.”

The event overseer stated, “Everyone’s reaction was very good. I think this is another opportunity for K-Pop’s excellence to be known all over the world.”

JYJ also made a statement: “We are very happy that we were invited to such a meaningful event where we could spread the excellence of Korea to the spouses of world leaders. After finishing our world tour, we were proud to participate in a nationally prestigious event. It was a short performance but we hope that the spouses will have made good memories of Korea.”

Meanwhile, the members of JYJ are all actively involved with musicals, dramas and other personal activities.
