SPICA Makes Their Inkigayo Comeback With "Painkiller"

Rookie girl group SPICA made their comeback today on Inkigayo with their second single “Painkiller.”

It has only been three weeks since they had ended promotions of their debut single “Russian Roulette.” “Painkiller” is an R&B track written by Ryan Jhun, whose previous works include songs by Lee Hyori, DBSK, and SHINee.

Regarding their choice of their comeback song, a representative of SPICA said, “There were a lot of deliberations about the follow-up song. Fans were split on whether they wanted to see more of SPICA’s vocal skills or their stage performances. It was difficult to choose a song that could satisfy both aspects. ‘Painkiller’ is a song that will satisfy both the vocal skills and stage performance wants of fans.”

They released the music video for “Painkiller” a few days ago and have finished their first weekend of promotions with today’s performance.
