Girls’ Generation’s YoonA Beats Out miss A’s Suzy for “#1 First Love Icon”

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA was picked as the “#1 First Love Icon” in a recent poll that asked, “Who’s the best first love icon?”

According to online music site Monkey 3, YoonA topped the list with an overwhelming 40% of the votes, beating out female stars such as miss A’s Suzy, Han Ga In, Lee Min Jung and Shin Se Kyung. YoonA currently plays the role of Yoon Hee in KBS drama “Love Rain,” as the first love of Jang Geun Suk, leaving a strong impression to many fans as a memorable first love character.

miss A’s Suzy came in at second with 18% of the votes. Her Seo Yeon role in the movie, “Architecture 101,” who tracks back her memories to find her first love, perhaps played a big role in earning this spot. Han Ga In, whose recent roles in “The Moon that Embraces the Sun” and “Architecture 101” both portray the first love, ranked at #3. Lee Min Jung, Son Ye Jin, and Shin Se Kyung trailed at #4 to #6, respectively.
