New Girl Group TAHITI to Be Introduced Through SBS-MTV
New girl group TAHITI will make their broadcasting debut on SBS-MTV to eight different countries in Asia. SBS-MTV announced on April 13 that TAHITI’s debut program “Ta-Dah! It’s TAHITI” will be aired in Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, and Singapore.
“Ta-Dah! It’s TAHITI” will document the the group’s struggles and successes throughout their pre-debut journey. “Ta-Dah!” is a new paradigm of idol reality program, showing daily lives of an upcoming idol group up until their debut. TAHITI is the third artist to be featured in the “Ta-Dah!” series after MY NAME and B.A.P.
An official from “Ta-Dah!” commented, “This program has a distinctively different concept compared to other reality programs featuring idol groups. We are applying a mockumentary sitcom format to ‘Ta-Dah! It’s TAHITI.’ It’s going to be about seven genetically modified individuals who was born through scientific experiment of applying animals’ genes to human beings. The seven specimens escaped from their lab and are trying to adapt to the new environment as they live with normal human beings.”
TAHITI’s agency DS Entertainment announced that TAHITI will release their debut album in June. “Ta-Dah! It’s TAHITI” will air on April 14 at 3:30pm KST.
