Jun Ji Hyun Ties the Knot

Jun Ji Hyun and her husband, Choi Jun Hyuk, were married on April 13 at Shilla Hotel in Seoul. Choi Jun Hyuk is the grandson of famous fashion designer, Lee Young Hee. 

The star guests that attended the wedding were those that had worked with Jun Ji Hyun in the past. Hwang Jung Min, Cha Tae Hyun, Kim Soo Ro, Song Joong Ki, Kim Yoon Suk, Oh Dal Soo, Kim Soo Hyun, Ha Jung Woo, Lee Juk, Kim Hye Soo, Han Ye Seul, Kim Hae Sook, Kim Yoon Ji, Lee Young Ae were some of the celebrity guests in attendance.

Before the wedding, at the press conference, Jun Ji Hyun shared the story of how she met her husband, Choi Jun Hyuk. The two grew up together in the same neighborhood, but were not close friends. After being re-acquainted two years ago, the two became close.

She also revealed the details of her special proposal. Her husband called her one day and asked her on a date, but also asked her to bring her passport.  When she asked him why she needed to bring her passport, he said, “There is somewhere we need to go.” He ended up whisking her away to Japan, where he proposed.
