Jay Park Asked a 'Korea's Got Talent' Contestant for Their Number

Singer Jay Park shows his support for someone whose number he got while at a club. But who could this person be?

Not long ago, a video of Jay Park went viral online titled, “Jay Park Getting Numbers at a Club.”

Jay Park can be seen in the video approaching someone and getting their digits. Though it wasn’t a woman like everyone would suspect but a b-boy as it was during a b-boy tournament. The video was taken a while back at the 2011 R-16 and the person Jay approached is known as Poppin’ J.

They first met during the competition and soon after established a close friendship. Jay even featured Poppin’ J in his latest album, which was released back in April; they also appeared together on KBS 2 TV’s “Immortal Song.”

Recently, Jay continued to show support for his fellow b-boy as he took to Twitter to cheer for Poppin’ J on who had appeared on “Korea’s Got Talent 2.” Jay wrote, “Hyung, I saw you on ‘Korea’s Got Talent’!!!!! Yeah!!!! Come on!!!!!! kekeke.”

Poppin’ J was featured on the latest episode of tvN’s “Korea’s Got Talent 2” as part of a duo which was called BWB (standing for Blue Whale Brothers). The two attended the Incheon auditions. Soon after their performance aired the two became instant stars.

Fans responded to Jay’s Tweet saying, “It’s nice to see the great friendship between Jay Park and Popin’ J” and “I really hope that Jay will make a surprise appearance on Korea’s Got Talent.”

A Korea’s Got Talent official said, “We have just discovered how popular the two are when we saw videos of them with Jay Park being posted all over the internet right after the episode aired. They must be good friends of Jay’s since he showed his support for them through Twitter. We too hope that Jay will come in to cheer them on if they make the finals.
