Girls' Generation Robots to Be Produced by the End of 2012!

Domo Arigato Mr. Roboto! It looks as though K-Pop robots will be created. (They are going to take over the world!)

South Korean robot companies came together to create a “K-Pop Star Robot” consortium. The consortium is made up of Dongbu Robots, IR Robots, and Ocean Bridge ENT. The consortium signed a memorandum of understanding where they have stipulated that robots of Girls’ Generation, Super Junior, and other popular K-Pop groups will be created by the end of the year. This news was announced on June 25.

The Girls’ Generation will have an exterior that is the Girls’ Generation image. It will use sophisticated motors with 20 different joints so that the robots will be able to follow the Girls’ Generation dance moves. This will be an improvement on the “Hovis Eco” released by Dongbu Robots in April 2012.

IF you purchase the robot and put in Girls’ Generation music and a dance application, the robots will sing and dance to Girls’ Generation music!
