JYJ Sues "Dispatch" for $100,000 Because of Defamation

JYJ filed a lawsuit against the first media source “Dispatch” that reported about the JYJ hitting a sasaeng fan. (A.K.A Sasaeng controversy)

On August 2 according to the legal sector, JYJ filed the lawsuit on August 1 and they are suing “Dispatch” for $100,000.

JYJ’s legal representative stated, “To publicly release an illegally recorded file without checking with the person in the recording is defamation and also invasion of privacy.”

The representative continued, “Back in March, we filed a criminal lawsuit but after discussions we decided that filing a civil lawsuit would be more appropriate in this case.”

In March 2011, Dispatch released an article, which reported that JYJ had cussed out saesang fans and also hit them. The article included a recorded file.
