"We Got Married" Oh Yeon Seo Was Rejected from SM and Debuted as LUV

Oh Yeon Seo revealed that she auditioned for SM Entertainment but ended up getting rejected.

Oh Yeon Seo shared her debut story on “Strong Heart,” which aired on October 16. She said, “I lived in Chang Nyung in  Kyungsangnam-do. There was an audition for a big company so I went but I wasn’t good enough so naturally, I got rejected.” That big company audition was for none other than SM Entertainment.

Oh Yeon Seo continued, “I was really disappointed but another company gave me a call to say that I am qualified. So I debuted in just four months.” The group she debuted under is LUV, which was also the debut group for Jeon Hye Bin.

Oh Yeon Seo was part of the girl group for just a year. She said, “Back then, everyone lip-synched so singing wasn’t a big problem. But it was my first time dancing. I practiced the same dance for eight hours straight. I was practicing for 17 hours in total per day so I always fell asleep at school.”
