[Event Recap] Brian Joo in "Loving the Silent Tears"
On Saturday, October 27, 2012, Korean pop star Brian Joo took part in a star-studded, one-time musical event titled “Loving the Silent Tears” at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA. Working amongst a cast of Tony, Grammy and Emmy Award winners, as well as other renowned international artists, Brian stated, “I’ve never imagined being a part of a production of this caliber…. I am honestly more humbled than ever before and cannot wait to see where this night will go.”

On the red carpet
The show guided the audience on a journey through 16 countries across the globe in a search for inner peace and happiness, while showcasing traditional musical styles and vibrant costumes from each culture. Dressed in dazzling renditions of hanbok (traditional Korean dress/clothing), Brian Joo and Korean-American singer Heather Park represented Korea. Especially striking was the all-sequin hanbok worn by Heather Park (think Hyun Bin’s notorious sequined tracksuit from Secret Garden).
Despite being part of a large cast of incredibly talented performers, Brian did not fail to shine, and he seemed to thoroughly enjoy every moment of the stage.
