"KARA The Animation" To Air in January

Female idol group KARA will be featured in an animation series of their own!

According to sources from the production team, each member’s animated character will possess a set of qualities that fans can easily identify them by. The story board for the characters will carry the same concept behind KARA’s name which means, “sweet melody.” The production team also assured that fans will enjoy the series as another way to interact with KARA members, who will be dubbing their own voices and provide an original opening theme song for the series. 

“KARA The Animation” will be broadcasted over television stations  starting sometime at the beginning of 2013, and introduced at KARA’s “KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year Tokyo Dome!” event. The animation will be aired in Japan as KARA continues their Japanese promotional activities to expand their image abroad.
