After School's UEE Receives Praise For Acting in "Jeon Woo Chi"

After School‘s UEE received praise for portraying the agony of being caught under a spell.

In the fifth episode of KBS 2TV’s “Jeon Woo Chi,” Ma Sook calls in Hong Mu Yeon (played by UEE) to reveal the secret behind a drawing.  Unable to recall anything, Hong Mu Yeon takes one look at the drawing and protests, “I can’t tell you. I shouldn’t,” and reveals her struggle to free herself from Ma Sook’s spell. While Ma Sook presses her further, asking her to reveal its secret now that he knows that she is aware of what it means, Mu Yeon struggles harder to break free from his control, screaming “Enough!” while clutching herself to protect Hong Gil Dong’s secret. 

UEE impressed viewers with her emotionally evocative performance of her character’s pain and agony of being trapped under a spell.
