Park Shin Hye's 5 Facial Expressions for "My Flower Boy Neighbor"
On the most recent episode of tvN “My Flower Boy Neighbor,” Park Shin Hye portrayed the introverted and anxious Go Dok Mi’s character through various facial expressions. Go Dok Mi, who happily closed herself off from the world and is living as Rapunzel of the city in her own comfort, is caught off guard when Enrique Keum (played by Yoon Shi Yoon) breached the boundaries she’s set up and walked into her life with endless questions.
Park Shin Hye’s representative commented, “Park Shin Hye successfully portrayed Dok Mi’s isolation through her facial expressions. When looking longingly at her neighbor Tae Jun, she seemed rather wailful. On the other hand, when she received the text about not getting her money, she expressed anger and restraining such emotions in her face. Also, in thinking about the past, she told many stories just through her facial expressions.”
Also on this episode, Park Shin Hye transformed into a high school girl in school uniform. Standing in front of the blackboard in her school uniform and looking down to earth without makeup, she made a believable high school student. However, the plain look for a high school uniform still could not cover her shining beauty. Park Shin Hye’s agency 4HIM Entertainment stated, “Go Dok Mi had a good reason to be afraid of the world. This reason and other trauma from her high school days will start to unveil slowly.”
tvN “My Flower Boy Neighbor” starring Park Shin Hye and Yoon Shi Yoon airs on Mondays and Tuesdays at 11pm KST.
