Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin Talk About Friendship and Acting Together
“School 2013” stars Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin showed off their close friendship.
On January 29, a program titled, “School 2013 Special Let’s Go To School,” was aired after the last episode of “School 2013” that aired the night before. During the show, Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin’s reconciliation scene was picked as the best scene by the other cast members of the drama.
When the emcee asked Kim Woo Bin, “Did you know this scene was going to get picked,” he answered, “This was what I wanted. Thank you,” in a playful manner.
Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin are the same age and have started off their careers by modelling. The emcees also asked, “Are you close off set as well? Will you continue your friendship even after the drama?”
Then Lee Jong Suk answered, “We were always friends ever since we started modelling,” and “So it was very comfortable when we were acting. When we were shooting the reconciliation scene, it was a really cold day so it was hard to focus on my emotions. But Kim Woo Bin helped me a lot. We both cried our eyes out.”
Lee Jong Suk also shared that this particular scene, which was shown toward the end of episode 10, was the hardest scene for him throughout the drama.
Lee Jong Suk also shared, “Before we go into shooting, the director would do a roll call. Then he would have to shout, ‘Quiet, quiet down!’ a couple times before shooting. And just like when the bell rings in school, he says positive and inspirational words. It was truly like being in a school classroom.”
