Ahn Jae Wook Returns to Korea after Recovery from Brain Surgery
It was previously reported that actor Ahn Jae Wook underwent brain surgery in the United States to treat his “subarachnoid hemorrhage,” which is a condition where there is bleeding between the brain and the thin tissues that cover the brain. A later report reveals that he is recovering smoothly and now it’s been belatedly revealed that he has returned to South Korea on March 3.
On March 5, his agency Jable Entertainment stated, “Ahn Jae Wook’s surgery went well and so is his recovery. He was allowed to leave the hospital since the end of last month and has returned to Korea earlier than previously thought.”
His side continued, “The medical team in Korea also diagnosed that his surgery results were good so one can conclude that there are no side effects.”
Regarding his future plans, the agency shared, “As you might’ve guessed, Ahn Jae Wook can’t jump into scheduled activities for the time being. But we’ll do our best so that he can quickly return to the public with a great project.”
