PSY's "Gangnam Style" Is Getting Sued for Plagiarism!

PSY’s representative revealed their opinion on the different plagiarism lawsuits going on regarding “Gangnam Style.” For those of you that didn’t know, usually when something becomes very famous a lot of individuals bring lawsuits. (This was the case for Harry Potter, The Davinci Code, Twilight, and etc.)

PSY’s representative made a statement on March 14, “Last year one composer brought a lawsuit against PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ because of plagiarism. If you listen to ‘Gangnam Style’ and the song that was created by the composer, anyone can tell that it was not plagiarized. Also, one can tell this fact by looking at the time that both songs were registered.”

The representative continued, “Recently there are a lot of people that are making claims that PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’ plagiarized their own songs. All of these claims are not even worth addressing. Currently we are taking the stance that it is a wiser to not address these claims.”

On April 13 PSY will open the exclusive concert “HAPPENING.” Currently the expectations are that the concert will attract an audience of nearly 50,000.
