Police Late in Handing Over Park Shi Hoo’s Case to Public Prosecutor
The Seoul Western District Police Department, which is in charge of Park Shi Hoo’s sexual assault case, announced today, March 29, that they will be handing over the case to the Public Prosecutor’s office later than expected. The department had declared earlier that the case would be sent over by the end of March but it seems the report will be delayed until at least the beginning of April.
Representatives from the police department explained that there were several reasons the investigation was prolonged, such as the delayed questioning of Park Shi Hoo and waiting for the lie-detector tests. They are in the process of wrapping up, however, and will be able to hand over the case to the Public Prosecutor’s office in the first week of April.
