PSY Currently No. 9 on “Time 100 Most Influential People” Poll

As of April 3, 3:22pm (KST), the “Gangnam Style” singer PSY is holding at number nine on the “Time 100 Most Influential People” online poll.

This poll is held annually by Time Magazine in which people can vote for the leaders, artists, innovators, icons, and heroes they think are most influential. Singer Rain came in at number one on the online poll in 2011.

PSY currently has 6,812 votes of “Absolutely” influential, above actors like Jennifer Lawrence, and the U.S. President, Barack Obama. Above him, placing first, is Egypt’s president, Mohamed Morsi, with 62,416 votes and Kim Jong Un, the Supreme Leader of North Korea, is at number six with 10,536 votes.

Official voting ends April 12 and the winner will be announced April 18.
