Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min to Head Historical Film "The King's Wrath"

Actors Hyun Bin and Han Ji Min will be heading a new historical film called “The King’s Wrath.”

The film takes place in the Joseon era and Hyun Bin will be playing King Jeongjo while Han Ji Min will be playing Dowager Queen Jeongsun. King Jeongjo and Queen Jeongsun are known to be political enemies in history and will be portrayed so in the film.

Han Ji Min is said to have given a lot of thought on joining the film and is currently discussing the details of her contract. It is also reported that Hyun Bin is currently training hard by taking horseback-riding lessons and martial arts lessons as well.

“The King’s Wrath” is about King Jeongjo, who is constantly facing political opposition and is in danger of assassination. The film is Hyun Bin’s come back project, which is why it is receiving a lot of attention.

Other confirmed cast members include Jung Jae Young, Jo Jung Suk and Jung Eun Chae.

“The King’s Wrath” will begin shooting in early September.
