IU Will Show a Fearless New Look on the Cover of "CéCi" Magazine

Following her recent comeback with the album “Modern Times,” Singer IU will be featured on the cover for the November edition of the fashion magazine “CéCi” in Korea, China, and Thailand.

The photo shoot was shot with the concept “A Queen’s Return,” an appropriate theme for the current queen of the Korean music charts. Some photos from the shoot were released on October 14.

In the photos, she breaks away from her usual adorable and lovable appearance. Here IU is  pure, classy, and chic: a charismatic new look for her. From wearing a bedazzled crown to a deep open-back dress, and not excluding some cuts where she poses with a taxidermied spider, she shows off her unique feminine (and fearless!) qualities.

On IU’s photo shoot, “CéCi” associate editor, Cha In Sun, explains that “It’s wrong to expect the ‘nation’s little sister’ from before. All throughout the shooting, I was surprised by IU’s commitment to the concept and the role.”

She went on to say that “IU showed a new, more mature and sexy side of herself that completely commanded the attention all of the guys on the staff. It’s that strong.”
