INFINITE Returns to Manila for “One Great Step”

INFINITE is out to take big steps! As they continue their “One Great Step” concert series, the boys have included the Philippines as one of their many stops across Asia.

In a press conference organized by the Araneta Group, the group talked about what they do in their free time, why they decided to come back to Manila for a second time this year and more.

INFINITE’s first time to perform in Manila was last January for the “Dream Kpop Fantasy Concert” with Girls’ Generation, EXO, TAHITI, Tasty and U-KISS. The group stated that they decided to return for a solo concert because their first performance here was with other groups. They also said they are very excited to perform for Filipino Inspirits.

On their latest single, “Destiny,” which was released last July, the boys wanted to take on a manlier image that’s different from the cute and light concept they had for “Man in Love.” They also mentioned that the song’s message is to emphasize that Inspirits are their destiny. 

Despite being busy with their world tour, the boys still manage to take time to rest and unwind with their family and friends. L enjoys taking photos during his spare time. Dongwoo even said that he brought his parents along with them to Manila!

On plans after the tour, INFINITE said they would like to take a break before making a comeback. The group also hinted at a new album to be released next year.

When asked what they know about the Philippines, leader Sunggyu mentioned the island of Boracay, a place known for its beaches. He also expressed his desire to visit the place someday.

For their message to Filipino fans, the group said they hope Filipino Inspirits will enjoy the show and make good memories with them! 

“One Great Step” in Manila is INFINITE’s last leg in Asia. The boys will be heading to the US for a four-city concert that will run all throughout November then move on to Europe before capping off the tour with a stop in Dubai.
