2013 Melon Music Awards Winners
This year’s “Melon Music Awards” had a little something for everyone, with SHINee coming out the biggest winners of the night, taking home the Artist of the Year prize, while Album of the Year Busker Busker (again) for their eponymous second album “Busker Busker 2nd Album.” EXO won Best Song of the Year for “Growl,” and also went home with the Netizen Popularity Award.
PSY won the Global Star Award for the second year running and this year’s sensations Rose Motel and Crayon Pop won the Hot Trend Award with “Long Time Lover” and “Bar Bar Bar” respectively.
On November 14, the “2013 Melon Music Awards” took place at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul. This year’s awards ceremony was hosted by EXO and actress Lee Yoo Bi. The Melon Music Awards is known for giving awards heavily based on digital sales and online voting.
