[Giveaway] "Marriage Blue" Opens in Singapore on Jan 2, Limited Edition Pictorial Calendars Giveaway

After watching 2PM‘s Lee Jun Ho in “Cold Eyes“, Hottests are in for another treat. This time, we see Taecyeon in his debut romantic comedy movie, “Marriage Blue“. 

Boasting a stellar cast, Kim Kang Woo, Kim Hyo Jin, Lee Hee Joon, Go Joon Hee, Ma Dong Seok, Guzal Tursunova, Lee Yeon Hee, and  Taecyeon together form the four couples who are counting down towards their big day. In a light-hearted way, the movie portrays the anxiety faced by couples as they approach the turning point in their life.

Tae Kyu (played by Kim Kang Woo) is a former professional baseball player and is now a coach for a minor league team. His girlfriend, Joo Young (played by Kim Hyo Jin), runs a successful urology clinic. They decided to get married when they are finally together again after breaking up 12 years ago. Tae Kyu finds out the truths about Joo Young’s past before the wedding.

Dae Bok (played by Lee Hee Joon) works at Joo Young’s urology clinic. He and wedding planner Yi Ra (played by Go Joon Hee) had a one night stand after meeting at a dance club. When Yi Ra tells him that she is expecting, Dae Bok proposes immediately. However, the couple starts to argue at every little detail when they are preparing for their wedding. Being the daughter of a Catholic priest, Yi Ra has been living a double life and finds it difficult to tell the truth to her father.

Gun Ho (played by Ma Dong Seok) runs a flower shop and is set to wed young and beautiful Vika (played by Guzal Tursunova) from Uzbekistan. Gun Ho went to see urologist Joo Young when he was suddenly inflicted with impotency. This international couple soon find themselves entangled in misunderstandings when Vika starts to secretly takes cooking lessons from young and talented chef Won Cheol (played by Taecyeon). Conflicts due to the difference of age and cultures are often experienced by any international couples, and this one is no exception.

Chef WonCheol and his fiancee So Mi (played by Lee Yeon Hee), a nail artist, have been together for seven years and feel no sparks for each other. Several days prior to their wedding, So-Mi travels to scenic Jeju island for a nail art competition. Joo Ji Hoon plays Kyeong Soo, an artistic and charismatic web-comic writer who happened to come into the path of So Mi. She now feels that she has found the love of her destiny just a week before her wedding! Will So Mi return to Seoul and marry Won Cheol as planned or pick Kyeong Soo instead? 

Taecyeon also composed, wrote and sang the opening theme song to this movie! 

Director Hong Ji Young skillfully intermingles the lives of these four couples without any hint of confusion. This movie will certainly be helpful for those who are getting married, and be relatable even to those who are not. For others, it is a greatly relaxing and fun movie to watch.
