B.A.P Ascend to the Top of Billboard World Albums Chart
Hip hop warriors B.A.P have found their way to the top of the Billboard World Albums Chart, with their second album “First Sensibility.”
B.A.P jumped to number 1 on the February 22 chart, which features albums by non-American artists, usually in a different language other than English. This isn’t the first time the group has done so. Their second and third mini albums, “One Shot” and “Badman,” previously topped the Billboard World Album Charts as well.
With their mature air and charming sounds of the guitar, and of course, B.A.P’s powerful comeback performances, it’s no wonder that B.A.P became a hot search term on portal sites. B.A.P has captured the hearts of not just those in their teens, but also those of females in their 20s and 30s, with an equal mix of sharp and sexy.
Their Billboard triumph follows after “First Sensibility” landed in the top ten of iTunes Top 10 Hip Hop Albums chart earlier last week. B.A.P also scored their first ever music show win on February 12 on MBC’s “Show Champion,” and quickly followed up with their second on February 14’s KBS Music Bank. At the recent Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards, B.A.P took home the World Rookie Award.
B.A.P is currently promoting the album’s title track, “1004 (Angel),” and will be holding their solo concert “B.A.P Live on Earth Seoul 2014” in March 8 and 9.
