
Lee Jong Suk Is a Brooding North Korean Doctor in New "Doctor Stranger" Stills
The upcoming drama “Doctor Stranger” released the first stills of its leading man, Lee Jong Suk.
The SBS drama released three photos of Lee Jong Suk as Park Hoon, a genius heart doctor who struggles to feel accepted and belonged at a hospital in South Korea after being raised in North Korea. In the pictures, Lee Jong Suk shows his character’s burden with his brooding presence. Other photos hint that there will be scenes of Lee Jong Suk in North Korea.
A representative of the drama said about their leading actor, “Lee Jong Suk was able to perfectly understand the warm heart of his North Korean character. He received admiration from the staff and crew with his passionate portrayal.
“Doctor Stranger” will air its first episode on April 28.
