Davichi to Release an Album in June, Still Undecided on New Agency

Female duo Davichi will be making a summer comeback with a new album!

Core Contents Media revealed to news outlet Star News on May 21, “Davichi will release a new mini album in mid-June and start their activities.”

As the duo decided to leave the agency back in February when their contract expired, this news comes as a surprise to many of Davichi’s fans. However, it was reportedly announced at the time that Core Contents Media will produce an album for Davichi regardless of any contractual issues. 

After releasing the album, Davichi can be expected to decide on their future plans. Core Contents Media commented, “Nothing has been decided yet. Detailed discussion over the matter will most likely take place when Davichi starts their activities.”

The successful duo made their debut in 2008 under the same agency, and has since enjoyed great popularity thanks to hits like “8282,” “Don’t Say Goodbye,” and “Turtle.”
