The Cast of “It’s Okay, It’s Love," Including Jo In Sung, Gong Hyo Jin, and EXO's D.O Pray for a Successful Drama
Pictures of the prayer site for the most anticipated Wednesday-Thursday drama, SBS’ “It’s Okay, It’s Love,” have been revealed.
On June 6, the prayer took place on the set of the drama where Jo In Sung, Gong Hyo Jin, Sung Dong Il, Lee Kwang Soo, EXO‘s D.O, Jin Kyung, Choi Seung Kyung, writer No Hee Kyun, director Kim Kyu Tae, and many other cast and staff members involved with the drama were in attendance. Even though Jo In Sung didn’t have anything scheduled, he visited the set early in the morning and took care of the busy actors and staff.
For this event, the staff and actors prayed for a safe and successful drama. The staff made a joke by saying, “We prayed that during the time of filming, the ghost of canceled schedules, the ghost of whimsical weather, and the ghost of mistakes would stay away and bring in the ghost of weather, the ghost of one takes, and the ghost of big hits.”
Director Kim Kyu Tae encouraged the staff and actors by saying, “I don’t think there’s a team as good as this. I think I’m the most blessed director to be able to work with an amazing staff and wonderful actors. ‘It’s Okay, It’s Love’ fighting!”
Next up was writer No Hee Kyung. After she offered alcohol at the altar, she said, “During filming, I think safety is the most important thing. Let’s leave the viewer ratings to the heavens and work hard.” She prayed for the success of the drama and high-fived and hugged director Kim Kyu Tae, creating a lively atmosphere.
Before this drama, Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin have shown great chemistry. After Jo In Sung offered alcohol at the altar, he said, “The art team, set team, and all the staff are working really hard. I think this drama will be a success since the legend of invincibility, Gong Hyo Jin, is with us. Seniors and juniors, let’s all work hard.” Gong Hyo Jin was next and said, “I’m really glad that I got the chance to work with the Korean drama dream team and all the senior and junior actors. I hope this will be a fun project. Jo In Sung, I’m counting on you.” Just like the main actors they are, they cared for the staff and the other actors first.
Sung Dong Il, who performed the offering seriously with Jin Kyung, said, “If I don’t have the confidence, I don’t do it. I have confidence in this one. I’m anticipating a hit for ‘It’s Okay, It’s Love,” receiving a round of applause. Lee Kwang Soo explained that he was glad to be given the chance to work with great people and shouted, “Big hit!” making everyone laugh.
While D.O was talking, the staff and fellow actors requested for him show his dance skills. As the youngest member, he danced with all his might.
Continuing on, SBS Drama’s CP, Kim Young Sub, told the staff, “When I look at the current ‘It’s Okay, It’s Love,’ the teamwork is really great. It reminds me of the drama ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows,’ which was a big hit in regards to the quality of the drama and the popularity. I think this will be a big topic this summer. I hope you’ll have high expectations and give a lot of love.”
“It’s Okay, It’s Love” is a story about Jang Jae Yul, played by Jo In Sung, who is a romantic, mystery novelist with a perfect face. Gong Hyo Jin plays the role of Ji Hae Soo, who seems chic on the outside, but on the inside, is more down to earth than anyone. The two people who are from two different worlds fall in love and the romance begins. The first episode of this drama will be aired on July 23.
