Megan Lee Thanks Kim Tae Woo in bnt International Interview

Singing sensation Megan Lee has given an interview and appeared in a photo spread for media outlet bnt International. Since making a name for herself as a YouTube sensation and as part of MBC audition program “Birth of a Great Star,” Megan Lee has been earmarked for fame in the Korean entertainment industry.

She has been working with Kim Tae Woo ahead of a forthcoming musical release, and told bnt that the g.o.d star is something of a perfectionist when it comes to production.

She explained, “He is generally a very sweet and kind man. But as a producer, he is quite different! It took us five or six hours to record just a few lines of a song. In total, it took us a month to finish just one track. It has not been easy, but I really think I have learned a lot from the experience.”

The star also told of how she is seeking to carve her own niche in the music world. She said, “I want to be able to try my hand at a rock style, like Avril Lavigne. I also like dance music, as well as bubbly and lively tunes, like my song ‘8dayz.’ My final goal, however, is to start making music in my own style.”

Megan Lee also extended her thanks to Kim Tae Woo, as well as fellow singers Park Jung Hyun and Shin Seung Hun, saying, “Thanks to them, I have had the chance to dream, to hope and to show that I can work hard.”
