B.A.P Becomes First K-Pop Group to Perform on MTV Sessions
MTV Asia‘s music series “MTV Sessions” will be seeing its first K-pop act to perform on its stage in the six-member boy band B.A.P.
According to an announcement made by the television network through its official website on August 1, B.A.P will be featured on the show, MTV Sessions, wherein the group will perform a selection of their songs live in front of their fans in an intimate setting. This will be B.A.P’s second performance for MTV following their first live recording for B.A.P Live in NYC at MTV’s Times Square Studio last year.
“Unlike the concerts we’ve held, this is going to be a different experience for us and the fans because it’s an intimate performance where everyone can see us up close and interact with us,” said by Zelo on MTV Asia’s official announcement.
The episode featuring B.A.P will be recorded live on September 11 at Resorts World Sentosa’s Waterfront Studio. Fans can participate as audience provided that they have passes to the recording that will be given away by MTV Asia from August 9-29 through its official website.
The boys of B.A.P are very excited to come back to Singapore to perform. This will be the group’s fourth visit in the country, with the most recent in May for the Singapore leg of their B.A.P Live on Earth 2014 Continent Tour.
Catch the show, “MTV Sessions: B.A.P” when it airs on September 25, 8pm (Singapore time).
