AOA’s “Short Hair” Tops M! Countdown July Charts

Girl group AOA’s most recent hit, “Short Hair,” has clinched the top spot on Mnet’s M! Countdown charts for the month of July, according to the television network.

Although the girls finished the promotion of the track with a performance on SBS’ Sunday music show, “Inkiyayo” on July 27, the group is continuing to make headlines with the popular song, which was created by hit-making producer Brave Brothers.

This is not the only chart that “Short Hair” has managed to top. AOA also reached the Number 1 spot on the global K-pop social network charts, and the act is currently the only girl group whose video has made the Billboard K-pop music video’s “Top 8.”

AOA will continue to build on its growing popularity with a Japanese debut slated for some time in October.
