“Tomorrow Cantabile” Makers Release Joo Won's Conducting and Violin Practice Stills
Group 8, the production company behind forthcoming KBS2 drama series “Tomorrow Cantabile,” has released a series of still images featuring the series’ lead male actor Joo Won.
The behind-the-scenes photographs show the actor playing a violin and practicing conducting. As part of the new series, Joo Won will be playing the part of a music student who dreams of becoming a conductor.
It has also been revealed that the star has been working hard behind the scenes in preparation for the role, with intensive violin, piano, and conducting lessons over the course of the past five months.
The series’ musical director, Lee Jong Jin, is a conductor himself, and has been giving Joo Won some professional guidance. Lee Jong Jin said, “It is surprising to see how hard-working Joo Won really is. He makes a huge effort, even though he has a very busy schedule. His keenness is enviable. He is also a fast learner, and has a great attitude.”
“Tomorrow Cantabile” will begin airing on Mondays and Tuesdays starting October 13.
