Bae Doo Na Films Wachowskis' New Series, "Sense8," in Seoul
Bae Doo Na is working once again with the renowned Wachowski siblings on the upcoming American series “Sense8,” a science-fiction television series that will be released through Netflix.
After filming in different parts of the world including Iceland and Kenya, it was revealed that Bae Doo Na and the rest of the crew are continuing the filming in Seoul, Korea this month. Recently, Bae Doo Na was seen filming “Sense8” in Cheonggyecheon in Seoul.
According to a report by Kyeongin.com, Bae Doo Na was seen wearing a bluish-gray one piece dress and filmed her scene among passersby in Cheonggyecheon. About 100 extras participated in the scene and onlookers were amazed at how everyone moved according to the command of the director.
The other Korean actors who are part of “Sense8” including Ma Dong Seok, Lee Gyeung Young, Myeong Gye Nam, and Lee Ki Chan are said to not have participated in the filming of this particular scene.
The filming in Korea which started on September 18 is said to take place in Sangam and other areas in Seoul.
The sci-fi series, which is slated for premiere in 2015 and is expected to run for five seasons, is about eight people in eight different cities who suddenly get entangled with each other through telepathy.
Bae Doo Na plays the dual role of a business woman, who works for her father’s company, and a fighter with exceptional martial arts skills.
After the filming in Korea this month, the production will proceed to film in Mexico and Germany.
