Uhm Jung Hwa Considering Role in "Attractive Nightmare" Movie

Veteran singer and actress Uhm Jung Hwa is in talks to star in forthcoming movie “Attractive Nightmare [working title],” according to media outlet OSEN.

OSEN claims that a spokesperson for the star’s talent agency, Sim Entertainment, explained that Uhm Jung Hwa has an interest in the role, although her appearance has not been confirmed at this stage.

The representative is quoted as saying, “She is quite positive about the opportunity of starring in the movie, but nothing has been confirmed yet.”

The movie is about a successful lawyer who, due to a mix-up, has to go undercover as a housewife.

Uhm Jung Hwa’s most recent appearance was as the star of tvN drama “Witch’s Romance,” which aired earlier this year. She also starred in last year’s hit movie “Venus Talk,” though she has not released any new musical material since the song “D.I.S.C.O.,” which dropped in 2008.
