DEMION’s Nak Hun Announces Disbandment of the Group Due to Financial Difficulties
It has recently been announced that five-member boy group DEMION has officially disbanded.
DEMION first made their way into the music industry in September of 2013 with the release of their debut mini album and music video titled, “Ask Her Out.” The group was produced by the label known as Lions Bridge. However, it appears that the company can no longer support the continuation of the group due to financial difficulties, causing its disbandment.
Member Nak Hun explained through a recent post on his personal Twitter account that all of the members—Yoon, Sun, Hae Geun, and Sang Bum—including himself, are still supporting one another with plans for their individual futures. He wrote as follows:
“[W]e apologize for such unexpected notice but some of you might have noticed that we, as Demion have not been active since our debut album. As the eldest of the members, [I] am here to sadly inform you that we have been disbanded due to financial issues of our label company. [W]e have disbanded as a team, but we are still good friends and are currently helping each other with whatever help needed with each other’s work on music and career. [O]nce again [I] apologize on behalf of all members to be informing you with the official disband notice.”
This is unfortunate news for fans of DEMION, but we wish the best for each one of the members with their future endeavors!
