"Birth of a Beauty" Teaser and Stills Shows Han Ye Seul's Transformation

The SBS weekend drama “Birth of a Beauty” marks Han Ye Seul‘s return to the small screen after three years, and the production company has released stills of Han Ye Seul.

The first day of filming was on October 7 for Han Ye Seul and it took place in front of a shopping mall in Incheon. As it was the first time she had been in front of a camera in a long time, she came to the filming location a little nervous, but after exchanging jokes with the staff, her anxiety dissipated.

Han Ye Seul, who safely finished her first filming of “Birth of a Beauty,” went on to say “I am working hard with a reliable director, writer and fellow actors to show a good drama. I’ll give it my best by focusing on the drama.”

Han Ye Seul plays the role of Sara, an ahjumma who is a judo practitioner approaching 100 kg who becomes reborn a supreme beauty after receiving full-body plastic surgery after an accident. Sara is a character that is a beauty on the outside, but is still the same ahjumma with the same personality on the inside.

The production team behind “Birth of a Beauty” stated “Han Ye Seul is an outstanding actress with great facial expression acting that will give her character more dimension, so people are anticipating her acting. We are doing our best to make a fun drama that occupies the evening time slots on the weekend, so please show interest in the drama and give us your support.”
