2NE1's CL Officially Signs with Scooter Braun for U.S. Debut

2NE1‘s leader CL has taken the first step towards her U.S. solo debut by signing a management contract with Scooter Braun.

Scooter Braun, who represents artists like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, and PSY, wrote on his Instagram on November 11, “It’s go time @chaelincl 🙂 #official #baddestfemaleofasia #worldwide #musiciscrazy!” Along with the message, the manager shared a photo taken during the exciting signing session.

In the picture, Scooter Braun flashes a bright smile to the camera while CL is looking edgy and stylish next to him. Based on the papers and a pen, it appears they had just signed the contract for CL’s advancement into the U.S. music market, which will be led by the famous talent manager.

Last month, YG Entertainment announced CL is currently working on her solo album that will be released next spring. Since then, Scooter Braun and CL have updated Blackjacks on the progress through social media.
