Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2014 – November Week 3
The top two songs switched place from last week with BEAST’s “12:30” moving up to No. 1. After conquering the music shows in the past two weeks, BEAST was finally able to score their second No. 1 song on our chart this year. They joined Ailee and Girl’s Day as the only artists with multiple chart topping songs this year. Congratulations to BEAST.
Epik High’s “Happen Ending” fell one spot to No. 2 this week. Despite falling out of the top spot, Epik High still has two songs in the top 10 as their other album title song “Spoiler” moves up to No. 6 this week.
There are only two new songs in the top 10 this week. Right below the top two songs we find rookie male artist Yoon Hyun Sang, a former K-Pop Star contestant. His debut hit “When Would It Be” moves up 14 spots to No. 3 this week. Yoon Hyun Sang plays the piano and also duets with IU on this ballad. IU’s presence probably helped this song to achieve higher popularity. “When Would It Be” is one of the two title tracks from Yoon Hyun Sang’s debut mini-album “Pianoforte.” It is a modern folk style ballad about a couple who can’t let go of each other.
There is only one other new song in the top 10 this week. 2AM returns for the first time in a year and releases their third full length album “Let’s Talk.” The title song “Over The Destiny” moves up 11 spots to No. 7 this week. Written by veteran musicians Jo Kyu Man and Jo Kyu Chan, this song is about a man who wishes to be with his ex again. 2AM members show their perfect harmony and emotional vocals on this song.
