MBLAQ Will Not Promote New Ballad Album on Music Shows
Following the announcement about male group MBLAQ returning with a ballad album, it has now been revealed that they will not pursue active promotions for the album.
A representative explained to news outlet MyDaily on November 19, “MBLAQ will release a new song on November 25. However, there are no plans for promoting the song on television or music shows. Their upcoming concert MBLAQ Curtain Call will take place on November 29 and 30 as initially decided.”
Earlier today, J.Tune Camp unveiled a mysterious teaser hinting at the group’s comeback, and the news was confirmed soon after. MBLAQ will release their seventh mini album as a digital version on November 25, and the tracklist will consist of songs mainly penned by the members themselves.
Meanwhile, members Lee Joon and Thunder have been recently rumored to leave the group after their respective contracts end. According to the agency, the future of MBLAQ has yet to be determined, but all five members will participate in their solo concert. Other industry insiders claim that the group has decided to continue as one despite the expiration of contracts.
