Cable Drama "Valid Love" Sees Continuous Increase in Ratings Despite Low Start

According to the December 10 report by Nielsen Korea, the recent December 9 broadcast of “Valid Love” (written by Kim Do Woo, directed by Han Ji Seung) received a viewer rating of 1.29 percent (cable rating). This is reported to be 0.34 percent higher than the previous broadcast rating of 0.95 percent.

Each new episode of “Valid Love” has continued to consecutively record higher ratings than its previous, having aired four episodes in total so far. The first episode record 0.7 percent, the second was 0.8 percent, and the third episode recorded 0.9 percent.

In the most recent episode, the characters Kim Joon (Lee Soo Hyuk) and Illi (Lee Si Young) finally kissed after squabbling back and forth for a while. Following which, there was a foreboding of a love triangle with Illi’s husband, Jang Hee Tae (Um Tae Woong).

“Valid Love” is a complex melodramatic story of a married woman who is in love with two men at the same time, while each man vies for her affection. This drama was created by Kim Do Woo, the writer of ‘My Love Kim Sam Soon” and directed by “Alone in Love” director Han Ji Seung.
