Park Shin Hye Was Nervous About Her Transformation in 'Tailors'

Actress Park Shin Hye, starring in the movie “Tailors,” said she had never been so nervous while watching a movie.

During the “Tailors” media day, held on December 10, Park Shin Hye shared behind-the-scene stories with the press.

After watching the movie at the press preview, Park Shin Hye expressed her feelings by saying she felt “nauseated.” When people seemed puzzled at her comment, she further explained herself by adding, “I meant that I was so nervous to a point that I felt nauseated. I didn’t mean to confuse anyone,” while laughing out loud.

“I was so nervous during the whole movie that the tip of my fingers are aching,” she said.

“I’ve never felt so anxious while watching anything before,” Park Shin Hye explained. “My character was so different from my previous roles because I had to restrain my emotions. I didn’t know how the audience would respond do my transformation.”

In “Tailors,” Park Shin Hye plays the role of a queen who lives a dynamic life and is completely ignored by her husband. Detailed touches to her acting are anticipated to catch the full attention of the audience.

“Tailors” tells the tale of a royal tailor during the Joseon dynasty and is the first movie to be based on court dress and costumes from the time period. Starring Han Suk Kyu, Go Soo, Yoo Yeon Suk, and Park Shin Hye, it will open in theaters on December 24.
