Lee Je Hoon, Go Ara, and More Confirmed to Star in New Film “Detective Hong Gil Dong”

It has been revealed that actors Lee Je Hoon and Go Ara have both confirmed their casting in the new film titled “Detective Hong Gil Dong,” for which the cast and crew recently began shooting.

After accepting the casting offers for this movie, which is based on the classic novel hero, Hong Gil Dong, Lee Je Hoon and Go Ara entered their first filming together not too long ago. It is said that the upcoming “Detective Hong Gil Dong” film’s storyline transformed the original character of Hong Gil Dong into a private investigator role.

Following the completion of his very first scene, Lee Je Hoon expressed, “This is my first time trying out this genre of film, so my anticipation to create a fun movie filled with unusual visuals and refreshing characters is great.”

Go Ara plans to display a completely new side through the role of President Hwang, the general manager for Hwal Bin Dang, who works closely with Hong Gil Dong (played by Lee Je Hoon). Additionally, actor Kim Sung Kyun has taken on the role of a mysterious character who chases after and threatens Hong Gil Dong. Alongside these stars, actors Park Geun Hyung and Jung Sung Hwa will also be acting in “Detective Hong Gil Dong.”
