Yeo Jin Goo and Lee Min Ki Talk Their Friendship and Latest Movie in Elle

Actors Yeo Jin Goo and Lee Min Ki recently posed for fashion magazine Elle Korea.

The two actors, who are 12 years apart in terms of age, play same-age friends in their upcoming film “Shoot My Heart.” In the movie, they play two 25 year-olds mental hospital patients with two drastically different personalities. The actors bonded really well on the set, despite their age gap.

Lee Min Ki, who has had a busy year with multiple movies released, said that he was able to think about his concerns as an actor while shooting “Shoot My Heart.” “When I’m not acting it feels like my life gets smaller. There’s a line in the movie that really touched me: ‘To be truly myself in my own time. That’s my life and that’s living. I don’t want to die.'”

Yeo Jin Goo, who has yet to reach his twenties, talked of the difficulties he had connecting with his character in the movie, who tries to hide himself due to psychological trauma. “But I try to listen to as many stories as possible before I judge. If I could portray someone by taking others’ thoughts into consideration as well as mine, I think I’ll be able to convey the message to more people and it would feel more sincere.”
