Kim So Eun and Song Jae Rim's chemistry is nothing short of electrifying. After just a few episodes, they're very used to skinship — something you don't see on the show very often. Sung Joon and Kim So Yeon had a hot older woman/younger man relationship in “I Need Romance 3.” They proved that age is just a number. They should be couple of the year because they loved each other for who they really were. Sung Joon understood So Yeon’s brokenness and knew exactly what she needed even before she realized it herself. Sung Joon proved himself to be a perfect man as he spent time taking care of her. Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun have been one of the most popular couples of the year with “My Love from the Stars.” The two’s chemistry was a force to be reckoned with, and it was definitely one of the most fascinating couples I have ever encountered. There are so many reasons why Hye Won (Kim Hee Ae) and Sun Jae (Yoo Ah In) in “Secret Love Affair” shouldn’t work as couple: she’s 40, he’s 20; she’s a well-off executive, he’s poor; she’s jaded and cynical, he’s naïve and idealistic; she’s married. But they do work as a couple, beautifully. What makes them so special is how deeply they connect on so many levels—physically, yes, but also emotionally, spiritually, and musically. They may be adulterers, and their affair may be besieged by complications, but their love is wonderfully, painfully pure. In a drama where nothing is as it seems and genuine joy doesn’t seem to exist, that makes Hye Won and Sun Jae’s relationship special indeed. -rughydrangea

In Ha (Park Shin Hye) and Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk) in “Pinocchio” are more than just a couple—they’re family. As a result, their relationship isn’t just based on sparks (though there are plenty of those!), it’s built on a rock-solid foundation of trust, the sort that is achieved by years of having each other’s backs. That’s what makes these two so easy to root for—even when they aren’t a couple, they are always there for each other. Whether they’re romantically involved or not, they will be each other’s steadfast supporters. Why are In Ha and Dal Po such a great couple? Because even when they aren’t a couple, they’re inseparable. -rughydrangea

Gong Hyo Jin's portrayal of their characters is the key to the dynamite chemistry of the "It's Okay, That's Love" couple. Both characters are complex, delicate, and difficult. For that exact reason, they are perfect for each other, filling the other's empty spaces in life and helping each other heal old and new scars. I think the “JJongah” couple (Hong Jong Hyun, Girl’s Day Yura) is such a cute couple because they have such adorable chemistry. They aren’t like some of the other couples, who have major skinship or romance, but they just always laugh and have fun together. They have changed so much as a couple from when they first started. They are so much more comfortable and casual with one another other. Yura brings more of the aegyo in the relationship, but it definitely rubs off on Hong Jong Hyun. Hong Jong Hyun is also very caring and protective of Yura. The way he shows this is very subtle and natural. They have such an innocent, playful, child-like relationship that it automatically makes you happy watching them. I am excited to see their relationship grow! –bubblybribri

Song Ji Hyo and Gary have been together for four whole years! Their lengthy relationship has been full of cheesy and endearing love.
