MBC Reveals New Stills of Historical Drama "Shine or Go Crazy" Starring Oh Yeon Seo and Jang Hyuk

MBC has unveiled two sets of stills of its upcoming historical drama, “Shine or Go Crazy.”

In the photos taken at a romantic field, Princess Shin Yool (Oh Yeon Seo) and Wang Wook (Lim Ju Hwan) are seen exchanging loving looks and enjoying each other’s company. The date-like atmosphere has raised questions about the real love interest of Shin Yool, as previous teasers showed her getting married to Prince Wang So, played by male lead Jang Hyuk.

A representative of the drama explained, “Wang Wook is a carefree romantic, who is willing to risk everything for love and stirs up conflicts along the way, which will be a significant part [of the drama].” Viewers can also look forward to the gradually evolving love triangle between Wang So, Shin Yool, and Wang Wook.

The second set of stills shows actors Kim Roe Ha, Ahn Kil Kang, and Kim Byung Wook dressed up in clothing worn during the Goryeo dynasty. Veteran actor Kim Roe Ha will be taking on the role of warrior Eun Cheon, while Kim Byung Wook’s character Ji Mong is an influential secretary working under the royal family. Ahn Kil Kang will play Kang Myung, an official working for Princess Shin Yool.

“Shine or Go Crazy” is a historical romance drama set in the Goryeo Dynasty (918-1392), and it will premiere on January 19 at 10 p.m.
